Things to See and Do on Your Trip to New York City

Activities and things to do are plentiful in New York. There are Broadway shows, tours around the Hudson River, visiting the Empire State Building and many other touristy, generic things. But you're in NY! Experience some cool things that you probably won't ever be able to do somewhere else. Go to Chinatown and get some dim sum or Little Italy and have a cannoli. Or go to the Frying Pan and have drinks on a huge boat on the Hudson River. Check out the show Fuerza Bruta and watch performers flying above you and then hang out at Union Square afterwards.

Events are another great option to fill your time while you're visiting NYC. There's always something for everyone, you just need to know what's going on. There are many sites out there that can help you figure out what to do like Flavorpill for arts & culture, Goldstar for discounted tickets and EventMe for unique local events. New York is very big on food and wine events, so if you're a foodie or vinophile, there's sure to be something going on when you're visiting.

So there you have it, a little rundown of what types of things to expect for your trip to New York City. The city can be a bit overwhelming in terms of the amount to see and do, but if you stay organized and know what you want, you can have a great and memorable experience. Make sure you stop and look around to appreciate the best city in the world. Enjoy yourself!
